The cover caught my eye and then I saw it was by Hilary Duff and I thought, Lizzie Maguire? LOL. Then I watched the trailer and was very intrigued. Now I have to read the first book in this series too.
Here is the Good Reads Blurb:
Since Sage was kidnapped, Clea has no way of knowing if he is alive or dead. And even though she has only just discovered they were soulmates, she feels like a part of her is lost forever. What’s worse, she can’t even turn to her best friend Ben—because every time she looks at him, all she sees is his betrayal.
But waiting for something to happen is not an option, so Clea is ready for action. Suffering through dreams of seeing Sage with another woman, she makes an uneasy alliance with Sage’s enemies and sets out to be reunited with Sage...in this life or the next.
Simon & Schuster Blurb:
Sage may be gone, but he's far from forgotten. Clea Raymond believes her soulmate is lost forever, and it rips her apart. Then strange signs and dreams point to a way she can possibly win him back. To succeed, she'll have to put her faith in her once-best-friend Ben, the one person who betrayed her the worst. As Clea, Ben, and Clea's other best friend Rayna follow a dangerous and mysterious trail across the globe to reach Sage, all their loyalties will be tested. Clea herself will face the worst choice – she'll have a chance to save Sage, but only by betraying the very people she always loved most. With Sage's immortal soul in the balance, whatever Clea decides will change her life forever. Hilary Duff delivers another sexy thriller in her Elixir series.
Great pick! I read the first book, Elixir, and actually really enjoyed it. If you like, you can visit my blog here to read my review (it's listed in my review archive).
I have been wanting to read Elixir but haven't yet, now I need to so I can read this one, which sounds really good. Thanks for sharing because I didn't realize Elixir was the start of a series. I had the same Lizzie Maguire thought :)
I know it's not right, but I automatically get turned off when I see a celebrity has "written" a fiction novel. I'll have to keep an eye out for your review to see if it's as cheesy/bad as I immediately think it is.

Hi Carrie!
I had no clue Hilary Duff wrote a book until I ran across this one. LOL. They do sound amazing though.

The first one is reallly good but ends with a mega cliffhanger so you must read that one first :) Great pick!
