Blush of Love by Rachelle Ayala
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was excited to read this story. I enjoy the author’s writing but this book was special for me because I’m a gamer. I really enjoyed the storyline. There were some minor things in the game world that I couldn’t picture. Because of that I actually would give this 41/2 stars. I rounded up because while I couldn’t picture the game world exactly as written, it did not take from the story. It was a personal issue that formed from my gaming experience. The romance between Safire and Matt, in the game world, was well done. I have experienced that. I have played with a boyfriend on several games. Closer to Safire and Matt’s story, I am now playing a game with a game boyfriend, (for those who don’t game, there is a difference between a boyfriend you game with and a game boyfriend). I thought their game relationship played out very well and it rang true. This was a fun book to read with a multiple genre blend..mostly romance and game themed, with a mystery and some drama involved. Something for almost everyone.
The book is a bit spicy at times. For those who like it spicy, it enhances the story. For those who don’t like the spice, you could skip over without losing the story.
