A Christmas Creek Carol by Rachelle Ayala
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved this story. Christmas and Halloween are my favorite holidays. I enjoy holiday themed books and movies all year around. A Christmas Creek Carol was a perfect read on this hot summer day. As much as I enjoyed the Christmas aspect, the true story was Ebony’s story. I loved how Ebony realized the most important things in life are not physical things. Too often we get lost in being a success and having the perfect life. This story is the reminder that you can have everything; success, the ultimate home, the right accessories of the perfect life but if you don’t make time for the people you love you truly have nothing. A quick read that captures your imagination, it is perfect for a rainy spring afternoon, a sultry summer day when Christmas seems so far away, a chilly fall day or a needed moment of relaxation after Christmas shopping.
I was given an ARC by the author for review purposes.
